Module content | Theoretical training in the herd or flock approach to health and production management of small scale ruminant systems, commercial dairy, beef, wool, mutton and mohair production systems, emphasising monitoring, prevention, outbreak management, technology and economics. Concepts covered in class are applied in practice through community-based learning by visiting cattle, sheep and/or goat farms and engaging with farmers. |
